About Mats Stading

Mats Stading grew up in West Sweden close to Gothenburg. After a PhD from Chalmers University of Technology he continued his research at MIT in Boston before returningto Gothenburg. His research today is in the area of Materials Science at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and Chalmers University of Technology.

Writing is an integral part of Mats’ research, but is then limited to facts. In his new novel Vikingaprinsessan (the Viking Princess) he has been free to use his imagination and write fiction. The novel paints an exciting story in current and historic time. It mixes historic facts in a fictitious story located in Sweden as well as in exotic countries. The novel is so far only available in Swedish.
